Composites Services

Composites Tooling
At our company, we have extensive experience in designing and manufacturing composite tooling. We utilize state-of-the-art CAD/CAM software and CNC machines to produce high-quality molds and patterns for composite parts, ensuring accuracy and repeatability in the manufacturing process.
Wet Layup
Wet layup is a composite manufacturing process that involves applying layers of fabric or fiber to a mold, and then saturating it with resin. The process is typically done by hand, and requires skilled technicians to ensure that the proper amount of resin is applied evenly to each layer. Wet layup is a versatile and cost-effective process, making it ideal for producing complex shapes and low-volume parts.
Infusion
Infusion is a composite manufacturing process where resin is drawn into a dry reinforcement material under vacuum pressure. The result is a high-strength, lightweight composite part with precise fiber orientation and minimal voids. This process is ideal for producing large and complex parts with excellent mechanical properties.
Pre-Preg (OOA)
Out of autoclave prepreg is a composite manufacturing process that involves curing pre-impregnated fibers without the use of an autoclave. Instead, materials are cured in an oven under vacuum pressure. This process is often more cost-effective and can produce high-quality parts with comparable mechanical properties to autoclave-cured materials.
RTM
Resin Transfer Molding (RTM) is a closed-molding process that is ideal for producing high-strength, lightweight composite parts with complex geometries. In this process, a preform is placed in a mold, and resin is injected into the mold under pressure, saturating the fibers and filling the mold cavity. The result is a strong, durable part with excellent surface finish and dimensional accuracy.
Compression Molding
Forged composites, also known as compression molded composites, are a relatively new manufacturing process that involves pre-impregnated carbon fiber strands being molded using compression and heat to create a composite material with superior strength and stiffness. This process has many advantages over traditional composites manufacturing methods such as decreased cycle time and reduced production waste. At our company, we have experience with forged composites and can offer our customers this cutting-edge technology to produce high-quality, high-performance composite parts.
