California Customs

The RIM process opens up a whole new market for mass customization. Thousands of vehicles are exported to Japan with Xenon styling kits

Mass Customization

Vehicle customization begins to go large scale. New designs and more efficient manufacturing methods fuel growth into the 2000's

Fast & Furious

The Fast & Furious movie franchise debuts with highly customized movie cars, many of which were styled with (now) heritage designs.

The release of the S197 Mustang brings a new era and boom for vehicle customization. 3dCarbon brings a 'widebody' kit to market through Ford dealers nationwide

RIM Design

Bayer (Covestro) works with 3dCarbon to write the guide on RIM part and Mold Design for engineered polyurethanes

SEMA Award

3dCarbon is the recipient of the SEMA Design award for their contribution to the Ford vehicle display

Champion moves from development to prototype and part replication in a very short time. Producing 30 complete vehicle bodies from CAD to assembled vehicles in 4 months
